avoid these 2 things as an introvert

avoid these 2 things as an introvert

1.gaslighting yourself

one really needs to stop suspecting his own potentials. It has been a very cliche' terminology being shown on our motivational social feeds to own ourself and how to feel confident in your own skin but have you ever wondered what actually has made a person so insecure about his entire existence that he literally is convinced to introspect every detail of his life in more or less a bad rather a toxic way.

see the meaning of gaslighting:
gaslight
/ˈɡaslʌɪt/
verb
gerund or present participlegaslighting
  1. manipulate (someone) using psychological methods into questioning their own sanity or powers of reasoning.

2. toxic positivity

this has been observed as one of the most common and devastating psychological aspects found in today's world. While we often forget to differentiate between what it's like to be a optimistic person and how compelling ownself to the things which might deteriorate mental health  can actually lead ourselves to ruin our own precious life under the false image of positive outlook.

“Everything worthwhile in life is won through surmounting the associated negative experience. Any attempt to escape the negative, to avoid it or quash it or silence it, only backfires. The avoidance of suffering is a form of suffering. The avoidance of struggle is a struggle. The denial of failure is a failure. Hiding what is shameful is itself a form of shame.

  1. I would like to add the powerful reminder to introverts about the harmful effects of self-doubt and excessive introspection. It encourages self-compassion and self-acceptance, highlighting the importance of nurturing one's own potentials. This perspective resonates with many introverts, emphasizing that confidence and self-assuredness begin within.
